Scam artist allegedly responsible for instigating violence against American interests in 21 countries and the death of four diplomats was taken to Los Angeles police department for questioning with his face obscured with white piece of cloth and wearing a golf cap in the early hours of Saturday.

Nakoula Basseley Nakoula was led to waiting a police car surrounded by Los Angeles Sheriff’s department men. He was being investigated for parole violation and also whether the movie “Innocence of Muslims”, which sparked violence in Middle East, violated the terms of his parole.

Nakoula, an Egyptian born Coptic Christian was convicted in 2010 for bank fraud. He used two addresses, one in Long Beach and Cerritos to apply for credit cards. He was released on “condition” that he did not have access to computers or computer related peripherals… (See below his parole condition)
Parole Conditions
The movie was filmed in Santa Clarita, a town just outside of Los Angeles, the casting members were recruited through a website named Back Stage. The actors were told the title of the movie was “Dessert Warriors” but on screening the title was changed into “Innocence of Muslims.
Ad for support crew
Nakoula’s name as Sam Becile was linked to the movie after a reporter found his cell phone number on a press release sent months before the movie was to be released.
