The commanders have also instructed the locals to store emergency supplies as Gaza militants are well equipped to fire long range missiles into Israel capital, Tel Aviv.
The Israeli Defense forces have instructed civilians located about 100-150 miles to be prepared to seek shelters when sirens are sounded to warn against incoming missiles.
On Saturday an estimated 2,000 army reservists were detailed to the streets of Tel Aviv to help with civic duties.

Gaza Militants are prepared to fight back-Opinion on Palestinian Telegraph.
For long time, the Israelis have been boasting the fact that their elitist army is invincible. The Palestinians, on the other hand, have been helpless in front of the most sophisticated weaponry; the Zionist army is equipped with. During the First Intifada in 1987, the Palestinians started their resistance by marches and demonstrations and stone throwing. They believed that Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King Models would avail in a civilized world. That did not work because the Israelis have been sadistic all the times; they never felt any sympathy for the Palestinian losing their innocent and unarmed children, men and women, by the most sophisticated American weapons given for the Israelis for free. The Israelis planes, drones, and predators would easily prey on the unarmed Palestinians at any moment.
To counteract this supreme power, the Palestinian resistance men have started to develop homemade rockets. At the beginning, these rockets were very ineffective; however, the Palestinian resistance manufacturing skills have witnessed tremendous progress; they succeeded in producing short, medium, and long range rockets. These have changed the formula on the ground. Today, for example, the resistance, succeeded to reach deep parts inside the occupied Palestine. The Palestinian homemade rockets succeed to reach Tel Aviv, and Jerusalem. This achievement is unprecedented for the Israelis; the Iron dome they developed to hunt down these rockets, was found ineffective. Even though the balance is still much in favor of the Israelis, the Palestinians feel with national pride. They feel that to some extent, they succeeded to change the rules of the old game.
Today, the third day of the war against Gaza, the resistance men succeeded to shoot down for the first time, an Israeli plane; the nasty F 16 which always inflicted massive destruction and tremendous loss of human lives, mostly children, women, and old people. To shoot down a single plane might not be a big issue, but for the Palestinians it is; it means a lot because this nasty American made war plane has always been associated with the Israeli supreme power, associated with massive destruction and deep despair. Today the Gazzans feel that Gaza managed to fight back; they feel to some extent, that they can deter the oppressor, and the aggressor. They feel they can save the lives of many innocent civilians, because from now on the Israelis will no longer feel that flying over Gaza and killing the Palestinians is an enjoyable trip.
At the end of the day, the Palestinians do not want anything except their legitimate rights; they want to live like other nations in the world in love and peace; they want to contribute to the welfare of the civilized world. The Palestinians were forced to waive the Gandhi and Luther Models because of the indifference of the forces of evil and darkness, the forces, of subjugation and enslavement. Now it is the time for all the free people all over the world to interfere and stop this crazy war against the Palestinians. We call upon European countries to interfere and find a just solution. We urge the American administration to be just and force Israel to comply with the International laws and the United Nation resolutions.
