The FBI agent has emailed topless photos of himself to Jill Kelley, the woman who blew the whistle on David Petraeu’s affair with Paul Broadwell.
The unidentified agent was the first investigation officer Jill Kelley approached after she received threats from Paula Broadwell. The agent is now under investigations by agency’s Office of Professional Responsibility.
It is learnt that agent after being approached by Jill Kelley reported the matter to FBI’s cyber-crime unit, but was removed shortly when FBI’s OPR branch discovered that the agent was becoming obsessed with Jill Kelley. The unidentified agent, according to reports in fear of the matter being swept under the carpet has also contacted Republican Congressman David Reichert to report the matter.
He has reportedly told the Congressman that senior FBI officials were planning to conceal the investigations.
The FBI has traced several emails sent to Jill Kelley from Paula Broadwell. And in one of the emails Paula Broadwell has said that she witnessed Jill Kelley touching David Petraeus under the table and whether her (Kelley’s) husband was aware of her actions? The anonymous emails have been sent from an email account that Paula and Scott Broadwell shared.
It is learnt that David Petraues, the highly decorated army officer of the country and his mistress Paula Broadwell both had set up private email addresses to communicate with each other.
The FBI has said some of the emails sent to Paula Broadwell by David Petraeus were accessed by outsiders. But did not say who accessed the emails. The agents have also discovered several classified emails in Broadwell’s computer alleged to have been sent by General Petraeus.
On October 26th a during a speech at Denver University Paula Broadwell told the gathering that U.S consulate in Libya was attacked by Islamic militants to free some of the prisoners held within the walls of the consulate, an indication that the source was David Petraeus.
On Monday night several FBI agents swooped on Broadwell’s home in Charlotte in North Carolina to conduct searches.
Meanwhile, the FBI has come under severe criticism from the law-makers for failing to alert the White House and the congress much earlier of the potential security implications.
