The Chinese are known for copying, may be an understatement of the year. They make everything, but replicate just about everything as well.

A Chinese real estate developing company has just finished building a replica of an Austrian village, Hallstatt, a world heritage site the Austrians are proud of.

Hallstatt has an estimated 950 inhabitants and also known for its salt production. The culture often linked to Celtic and Proto-Celtic
On June 16, 2011 plans to build the replica was first reported. In June this year, the Chinese mining company China Minmetals built the full-scale replica in Huizhou-Guangdong province.
