Three Syrian tanks inside Golan Heights, Israeli government complaints to U.N peace-keepers

The Israel government as lodged a complaint with the United Nations peace-keepers after three main battle tanks belonging to Syrian army entered the demilitarized zone in Golan Heights on Saturday.

Reports said that Israeli government did not consider as an immediate threat as the armored cars drove into the Syrian-Israel border. In the recent past, according to reports many misfired shells have exploded inside Israel causing serious concern whether the on-going violence in Syria would spill over.
The troubled Golan Heights was annexed by Israel in 1967 during the Mideast war.
