U.S fighter jets detailed to secret location in Middle-East

The U.S central command has detailed a fighter jet squadron from West Coast to a secret location in Middle-East to halt Iran’s ambitious nuclear program, a San Diego based newspaper claimed.

The U-T San Diego said as the conflict in Syria is threatening to drag Lebanon, Turkey and Jordan into war, Iraq is beset by renewed violence, and terrorist groups hoping to capitalize on political upheaval in the region covet Syria’s chemical weapons and Libyan arms.
It said that aviation spotters tracked a dozens of jets from Marine Attack Squadron (VMFA) 314 and F/A-18 Hornet squadron based at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, en route in late September through Europe.
It said that, both, the central and marine command declined to comment on the issue citing sensitive nature of the operations. The fighter jets are capable of providing air-support to troops on ground and also have the ability of firing 2,000 laser-guided bombs, cluster ammunition and air-to-air missiles.
