With
only 24 hours for first presidential debate between incumbent President
Obama and Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney, a poll
conducted jointly by NBC news and Wall Street Journal revealed that
Obama leading and Romney within a striking distance.
Obama edges Romney by three points 49 to 46, which is within the poll’s margin of error. But a wider poll conducted among the registered voters, Obama was leading by seven points.
Political observers from both parties agreed that poll numbers were encouraging news for both men.
