of Guatemala’s richest textile tycoon and hotel owner Joe Habie has
died in a helicopter crash, Prensa Libre newspaper reported.
The newspaper said he was the only person on board when the
helicopter crashed near a park on Friday. A boy who was playing at the
park sustained injuries when the helicopter exploded after crashing. No
other details were available.
Habie owned several textile companies and a five star hotel named Tikka Futura, the newspaper said.
