British newspaper has claimed that former Libyan dictator Gadaffi was
killed by French secret servicemen on orders from their former President
Nicolas Sarkozy.
The newspaper, Daily Mail reported on Sunday that Gaddafi was killed to prevent him being interrogated because of his suspicious links with the French President.
“Sarkozy, who once welcomed Gaddafi as a ‘brother leader’ during a state visit to Paris, was said to have received millions from the Libyan despot to fund his election campaign in 2007”, Daily Mail claimed.
The newspaper quoting highly places sources said that former British Prime Minister Tony Blair was also a close confidante of Gaddfi and helped the Libyan dictator to win multimillion dollar deals.
