Ex-Blackwater wins contract to teach self-defense to “spy” agency men
Controversial private military
company Black Water now known as Academi, has just won multi-million
federal contract to teach diplomats and other U.S operatives self
defense.
The Defense intelligence agency, according to Danger Room announced on Thursday that it would award six security firms to share $ 20 million to provide self defense for its men involved in “spying”.
“And this isn’t just any old training contract. It’s part of an effort to prepare the Defense Intelligence Agency’s information gatherers for work in the rugged, remote, and unpleasant parts of the world. “The training is designed for personnel before they leave on overseas deployments,” reads a description of the contract”, the Danger Room reported.
