Chicago bound United Airlines flight was forced to turn back to its
original destinations in North Carolina after fighting broke out between
two flight attendants in mid air on Wednesday, authorities said.
A spokesman for the Raleigh Durham International Airport said that both attendants squabbled before the flight and it escalated into a serious verbal argument after one of them accidentally brushed the other.
No arrests were made, as no blows were exchanged, but the Airlines is expected to take disciplinary action against the attendants.
The flight US 1214 which took off at 6.00 returned to the airport at 6.40am and passengers were found accommodation in different flights.
