Italian soccer club Lazio faces disciplinary charges for it’s supporters “unruly behavior” during the Europa league game against Tottenham on Friday, UEFA said.
The fans were involved mocking three Black players during the game which ended in 0-0 draw at White Hart Lane.
“UEFA has begun disciplinary proceedings against Lazio for ‘improper conduct’ by the club’s supporters during Thursday’s Europa League tie against Tottenham,” said a UEFA statement.
“The Control and Disciplinary Body will meet on 18 October to discuss the case.”
