U.S govt runs Ads on Pakistan televisions to soothe public opinion
The U.S government is running
advertisements in Pakistan televisions featuring President Obama and
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in wake of Anti-Islamic protests
following a movie that was made in California, newspaper reports said.
According to Indian NDTV, the U.S government has spent at least $ 70,000 to run advertisements to soothe public opinion; the advertisements are to convince the public that the movie “Innocence of Muslims” was made by a private Citizen and not by the government.

The protests which sparked demonstrations and riots in 21 countries resulted in the death of four U.S diplomats in Benghazi, Libya.
