Irish newspaper to terminate publication over Kate Middleton’s topless pictures
An
Irish newspaper owner furious over his editors publishing topless
photographs of Kate Middleton has reacted angrily and taking steps to
stop printing.
The newspaper, Daily Star, published Middleton sun bathing on Friday. The owner Richard Desmond according to reports has instructed his lawyers to begin paper work to terminate publications.
St James Palace reacted on Friday and condemned the newspaper for running 13 photographs of the duchess along with a single picture taken from the French magazine, the English version of “closer”.
“I am very angry at the decision to publish these photographs and am taking immediate steps to close down the joint venture. The decision to publish these pictures has no justification whatever and Northern & Shell condemns it in the strongest possible terms.”, he has told Guardian the newspaper.
