Trader Joe’s recalling Valencia Peanut butter linked to Salmonella outbreak in 18 states
Trader Joe’s is recalling peanut butter that is linked to at least 28 salmonella cases in 18 states.
The Food and Administration department said on Saturday that chain’s salted Valencia peanut butter sold nationwide was the main source linked to the outbreak. Investigations are conducted to determine whether the butter was contaminated.
Most of the people who sought medical attention are under the age of 18, no deaths have been reported.
Symptoms of Salmonella poisoning is Diarrhea, fever and cramps.
