Iowa- An Iowa mother is frothing mad because her son’s music teacher
ordered the entire class to spit on him because he stuck his tongue at a
classmate of his.
The mother, Alex Kindopp told the local television, the KETV-TV she was first informed about the incident by a teacher at the Shenandoha elementary school last week and her son verified the story.
Kindopp said that her son, 9, year old Jason Kindopp came home that day very upset and according Jason that he was doing “raspberry”-sticking his tongue out and blubbering-at a class mate, when teacher asked how he would like if the whole class spat on him.
Then the teacher has ordered all the students to “spit away”. “They all huddled around me and spat on face’, Jason has said.
Principal Tiffany Spiegel said in a statement Thursday that the district “cannot discuss particular incidents because of student confidentiality.”
“The safety and well-being of students is our district’s first priority. It takes all claims of bullying and harassment seriously and investigates all complaints it receives, as well as responds as the investigation warrants,” Spiegel said.
The KETV-TV said they tried contacting the teacher, but she wasn’t available.
