University couple, who become an overnight sensation in Singapore and
Malaysia after their blog-Sumptuous-Erotica, which had images of their
trysts and videos as well as close-up shots of their genitals are
expected to face disciplinary proceedings on October 31.
The couple, Alvin Tan, 24, a law student from Singapore and his Malaysian girl friend Vivian Lee, 23, since then have taken down their blog due to pressure from their families.
A spokesman for the university said “disciplinary proceedings” had been initiated against Tan.
“The student concerned has been served a notice of the Board of Discipline (BOD) inquiry. He has also informed the university that he will attend the BOD hearing,” the spokesman told AFP by email.
“The University does not condone posting of offensive content online by any member of the NUS community.”
Tan, on a scholarship funded by the Singapore government, was criticized by ministry of education for his actions. It said his actions were “offensive”
A psychologist has said that the couple showed dangerous level of sexual and exhibitionism and addiction and they need to consult a sex therapist immediately.\
The couple said that they blogged everything for their personal enjoyment and they would like to live their life as it is.
