“Too many cooks spoil the soup”, Ohio Soup Kitchen is in financial mess after Ryan’s visit

The Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan would have engineered the financial losses of the Ohio based “Soup Kitchen “when he and his family, in a publicity stunt descended upon the place on October 13th to stage a photo-opportunity without prior consent.

Now the kitchen staff says that donors are refusing to dole out money after Ryan’s visit.
“It appears to be a substantial amount,” Brian Antal, president of the Mahoning County St. Vincent De Paul Society in Youngstown, told The Huffington Post. “You can rest assured there has been a substantial backlash.”
Ryan and his entourage were photographed cleaning dishes, what appears to have been already washed, at the premises.  Brian Antal told Washington based newspaper that Romney’s campaign staffers did not seek permission before entering the place. He said he worried his faith-based apolitical organization could lose funding if it appeared the charity favored one of the political candidates, according to Raw Story
Antal says much of the funds which come from private donors have been cut off and according to Raw Story he could not disclose the specific amount.
“I’m a volunteer,” Antal added. “I receive zero compensation. Withholding donations is only going to hurt the over 100,000 we serve annually.” according to RS.
