Secret Service agent was found passed-out on the side-walk of a Florida
street just hours after President Obama left the state on Friday early
morning.
The agent Aaaron Francis Engler, according to police report was found by Miami police officers during an unrelated search in South Florida around 7.00am.
“He had bloodshot eyes, slurred speech and a strong odor of alcohol. Police said Engler started throwing his arms around while he and started to fight with officers”, the report said.
As police searched his pockets for any illegal item, they found the secret service identification. The report added that during the search a police officer was hit in the chin.
The agent was armed and according to reports he was upset because he was supposed to go on another assignment to an unspecified location. Engler who plays support role to President’s security is a uniformed officer.
He has been charged for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest before being released in his own recognizance.
