The
Royal family of United Arab Emirates was instrumental of arranging an
air ambulance to send Malala Yousufzai, the activist who was shot and
wounded by Taliban insurgents, to the United Kingdom for medical
treatment.
But the expenses for the treatment would be borne by the Pakistani government.
The decision to shift the activist was taken after consulting the family members. Just before she was transported to the ambulance the doctors took her off the ventilators for a while, the Dawn Newspaper reported.
Meanwhile the flight carrying the activist has just left Pakistan and heading to U.K.
