Kentucky Fried Chicken outlet in Southern Indian state of Kerala has
been closed temporarily by Food Safety Authorities after a worm was
found in a “fiery chicken dish’.
Acting on the compliant by a customer, the FSA officials raided the outlet in Thiruvananthapuram and have found stale items and immediately slapped a temporary closure, Indian media said.
The NDTV said that, the employees of the fast-food joint attempted to block the FSA officials from conducting examinations by removing food items to conduct their own experiments.
The management of the restaurant has been asked to submit written response against the compliant made by the customer.
