U.S military court judge is under fire for permitting five terror
suspects to wear camouflage uniforms inside a court room during the pr-
trial hearings, a British newspaper reported.
“The judge should grow a backbone”, the sister of one of the pilots whose plane was hijacked has told the newspaper, the Daily Mail on line.
Debra Burlingame said that the terror suspects were trying to use the situation to rally jihadists around the world to put American troops in danger”
The request to wear military style uniforms was put forward to the judge, Army Col. James Pohl, by the lawyers representing the terror suspects, including of Khlaid Shiek Mohammed, the mastermind of the 9/11 terror attacks.
“These men are guilty of war-crimes-you have to strip them of all those things that promotes their murderous cause”, she said.
