Investigators are zeroing in on a 55 year old man with a checkered past to determine whether he produced the anti-Islamic move, “The Innocence of Muslims” after duping investors for a tune of $ 5 million dollars, or his movie “Desert Warriors” was hijacked by an “invisible” source to instigate violence.
The man who lives in Cerritos just outside of Los Angeles was tracked down through a telephone number listed on a press release to media a few months ago. The man, Nakoula Basseley Nakoula has admitted to Associated Press that he managed the controversial movie, but did not say who produced the movie.
Nakoula Basseley Nakoula was charged on june 16 2009 attempting to open a bank account with Wells Fargo under the name of Thomas Tanas. On searching his premises in Cerritos (Park Premises) police found small quantity of Birth Certificates, Driver;s License, debit cards, Credit Cards, Social Security Cards, Passports, loan documents, business cards.
